Let us now take the example of the production of staple foods for the world’s populations, on which the survival of entire communities and, ultimately, the fate of half the planet’s population depends. All serious studies clearly show that the rules imposed by the WTO on the free movement of agricultural products will sideline the overwhelming majority of the world’s farmers, literally condemning them to death.
