The CETIM is concerned about foreign political and economic interference in Venezuela. A member of the Venezuelan Parliament proclaimed himself President, without any legitimate legal and democratic basis, and was recognised by most Western and some Latin American states, in blatant recognised by most Western and some Latin American states, in blatant violation of the Venezuelan constitution.
