On the report of the Special Representative on transnational corporations

[Excerpt from the statement]

In the above-mentioned report, the Special Representative recognizes that the consequences of TNC activities can affect all human rights. In this context, he draws up an inventory of existing means and certain measures taken by governments. He rightly notes, however, that these means and measures are insufficient, imperfect or limited, and far from up to the challenge.
