On 4 and 5 May this year, we organised a working seminar on the activities of transnational corporations and the need for a legal framework to regulate them. You recently received the proceedings and conclusions of this seminar in the form of a brochure published in three languages (French, Spanish and English). A summary of the conclusions of this seminar was submitted to the Sub-Commission in the form of a written statement, bearing the reference E/CN.4/Sub.2/2001/NGO/19
