In doing so, the expert completely distorts the Declaration, even though Article 1 defines the right to development as an “inalienable human right by virtue of which every human being and all peoples are entitled to participate in and contribute to economic, social, cultural and political development in which all human rights and fundamental freedoms can be fully realised, and to enjoy the benefits of that development. “
