Toxic wastes travelling from Brazil to Turkey

Following the report of the Special Rapporteur on hazardous substances and wastes on the gold mining issue, CETIM called the attention of the Hurman rights Council about another representative case : the dismentling of the NAe São Paulo ship, transporting toxic wastes, which was travelling from Brazil to Aliaga shipyard, in Turkey.
