Madrid: The foundations of primary care are being destroyed

My name is Riánsares Gómez Olmedilla, from the “Asamblea Popular de Carabanchel and Vecinas por la Sanidad Pública”.

In my country I have no guaranteed right to health care. The situation of public health care in the Community of Madrid has deteriorated to dangerous limits, especially for those of us who live in the poorest areas, where the lack of personnel affects our life expectancy. Today there are more than 760,000 people without a medical professional or pediatrician who can provide the necessary follow-up for quality care.
