The conference “Is it possible to feed oneself without the agro-industry? The role of peasants in our society” will be held on March 20, 2018.

Silvia Perez-Vitoria who will help us to rethink the role of the peasant in our society thanks to her experience as an economist, sociologist and documentary filmmaker. She will talk about her book “Les paysans sont de retour”, which received the Farmer’s friend prize in 2008 and the Nonino prize in 2009.

Fernand Cuche will remind us of the realities of the current political context in Switzerland. He will make the links with the food sovereignty initiative that we will be voting for this fall.

After the conference, let’s meet to have a drink and discuss about the peasant cause, food, La Fève (Participatory farmers’ supermarket) and a lot of other subjects…
