Webinar: The impact of unilateral coercive measures on the global fight against VIDOC-19

On 2 June 2020, Melik Özden, Director of the CETIM, was invited to participate in the webinar organised by the Permanent Missions of Belarus, China, Cuba, Iran, Nicaragua, Russia, Syria, Venezuela and Zimbabwe to the United Nations in New York. The virtual meeting was entitled “The Impact of Unilateral Coercive Measures (UCMs) on the Global Fight against COVID-19″: Supporting the UN Charter, Promoting International Cooperation and Ensuring that No One is Left Behind in Times of Pandemic”.

Indeed, humanity is currently facing one of the greatest emergencies of the last hundred years, due to a pandemic that knows no borders and does not discriminate against anyone.
